For International deliveries, additional duties and taxes may be applicable for the ordered items as per your country regulations, which will be billed separately to you by the courier company at the time of delivery. Precious metals like silver, and precious stones are commodities, with market fluctuations beyond our control. Occasionally, a piece will sell and then be recreated at a later date with a difference in price. This simply reflects the market value of the raw materials and may not mean that we have increased our markup.

Chooda Warranty & Replacement Policy

Product Durability & Limitations

Our Chooda sets are meticulously handcrafted and coated with premium materials to enhance durability. However, given the frequent use of hands, external factors such as impact, exposure to chemicals and environmental conditions may contribute to natural wear and tear. While we take extensive measures to maximize longevity, there are inherent limitations to the extent of damage that can be prevented.

Warranty Coverage

Our Chooda sets do not come with a guarantee. However, they are covered under a one-year warranty from the date of dispatch. The warranty covers:

1. Color fading
2. Color peeling
3. Breakage of Chooda bangles

Metal bangles, shimmer bangles, and any additional bangles included in the set are not covered under any kind of warranty.

Return, Cancellation or Replacement Policy

• Warranty Coverage: Any damaged Chooda bangles covered under warranty will be replaced free of cost.

• Wear & Tear Replacement: In the rare event of wear-off despite our high-quality coatings, we will replace only the affected bangles.

• Shipping Charges: Customers are responsible for shipping costs on replacement orders.

• No Refunds or Exchanges: We do not offer refunds or exchanges under any circumstances.

Chooda Sets (Bridal Bangles) are auspicious and custom-made for each bride making them non-exchangeable and non-returnable. Please review your order carefully before confirming your purchase.

This is particularly crucial for Chooda sets containing metal bangles, as metals may react adversely to harmful chemicals, leading to discoloration or structural weakening.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the lasting beauty of your Chooda. If the bangles accumulate dirt, gently wipe them with a clean, damp cloth to remove any buildup.
Do not use abrasive materials, harsh cleaning agents, or excessive moisture, as they may impact the finish and durability of the Chooda.

Precautions Against Color Contamination

Chooda bangles must be kept away from color-based agents such as Haldi, Mehendi, or any other staining substances. Contact with such elements can lead to irreversible discoloration and is not covered under warranty.

Wear & Tear Considerations

Minor scratches and signs of usage are natural outcomes of daily wear and do not indicate a defect.
To minimize damage, avoid contact with sharp objects, rough surfaces, or environments that may cause undue strain on the bangles.

Purity & Authenticity & Care Instructions

All our silver coins come with a Certificate of Authenticity for guaranteed purity.

To preserve their shine and quality:

• Avoid direct contact with moisture, perfumes, and harsh chemicals.

• Store in a dry, airtight container to prevent tarnishing.

• Silver metal tarnishes naturally. Store it in the transparent capsule the coin comes in for a long-lasting look. Keep away from moisture. Clean gently with a soft cloth when needed—avoid abrasive materials.

Pricing & Payment

• Prices of silver products displayed on the website are subject to market fluctuations and may change at any time without prior notice.

• Full payment is required at the time of purchase. Cash on Delivery (COD) is not available.

Order Processing & Shipping

Order processing time for Silver Coins vary depending on the product. Kindly read the product detail section on the product listing page to get the latest order processing time.

On average, a product marked as "Ready To Ship" can be dispatched within 3 to 10 business days, whereas a customized order may take up to 40 business days to dispatch, depending on the level of customization in the design and/or the quantity of the customized order.

Domestic delivery typically takes 4-7 business days, while international shipping may take 5-7 business days on average.

Shipping charges, international customs duties, and taxes (if applicable) are borne by the customer.

Customs, taxes, and other country-specific import duties may apply when importing silver. In such cases, the customer is liable to pay.

Return, Exchange & Cancellation

Due to the precious nature of silver, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges on silver coins.

In case of a damaged or incorrect item, an unboxing video is required as proof to process a replacement or resolution.

Customization & Bulk Orders

We offer customization on the coin, the box, or the box cover. Customization is chargeable extra. Once an order is placed, our design team will contact you to finalize your design. All customizations are done only after the customer's final approval on the designs.

General Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy covers cancellations initiated by Chotteylal.com, as well as customer-initiated cancellations, return requests, and refund requests.

Cancellation by Chotteylal & Sons

We reserve the right to cancel your order under the following circumstances:

• Product unavailability or out-of-stock status (you may choose an alternative product).

• Order quantity limit exceeded for a specific product.

• Pricing or promotional errors due to vendor mistakes or typographical issues.

• Flagged concerns by our credit and fraud prevention department.

• Incomplete or incorrect address details.

• Non-serviceable location.

While we strive to notify you before payment whenever possible, some cancellations may occur after payment. In such cases, your payment will be credited to your account within 48 hours, and you will receive an email confirmation.

Cancellation by Customer

• Cancellation requests are accepted within 24 hours of order processing, whichever is earlier. However, if order processing has already begun, we reserve the right to accept or decline the cancellation request at our discretion. Once the order has been processed or shipped, cancellations will not be entertained.

• Customized Kaleera Orders may have a 10-20% variation from reference pictures due to the nature of handcrafted products. Kindly ensure all details are correct before placing an order.

• Customized orders cannot be canceled under any circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to, Chooda Sets, Kaleeras with personalized charms, Chooda Covers, and Chooda Boxes.

Return & Refund Requests

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please email us at contact@chotteylal.com within 24 hours of delivery with a mandatory unboxing video and clear photos highlighting the issue. Our team will review your request and assist you promptly.

Important Policy Guidelines:

• We reserve the right to decline excessive or unreasonable return requests.

• Orders delivered to neighbors, security guards, receptions, or letterboxes are non-refundable.

• Refused deliveries by the recipient are non-refundable.

• Orders shipped via Speed Post are not eligible for refunds.

• Shipping addresses cannot be modified once the order has been processed.

Eligible for Return

You may request a return within 7 days of delivery under the following conditions:

• A faulty or defective product was received.

• Physically damaged product upon arrival.

• Incorrect product delivered (different from the description).

Not Eligible

• Worn, washed, or used products are not eligible.

• Combo/set products cannot be returned or replaced individually.

• Customized products are strictly non-returnable.

• Chooda and Kaleera are non-returnable, except in rare cases where shipping damage has significantly affected the product's condition.
  
  

If your return request is approved, you may exchange the merchandise within 30 days from the date of purchase. However, we reserve the right to decline any return request at our discretion.

Delivery & Shipping Policy

We deliver worldwide, except to Afghanistan and Pakistan. However, if you're from these countries, you can arrange delivery to a nearby location, such as the UAE, or any other country where delivery is possible.

For orders within India, delivery typically takes 4 to 7 business days once the product is ready, with remote areas requiring an additional 1-2 days.

For international orders, we ship via DHL, with an estimated delivery time of 3 to 7 business days.

Additional Terms & Conditions

• For perishable products like flower Rakhis, delivery will be attempted only once.

• Any defects or issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery by the recipient or sender. Failure to do so will result in the request being declined.

• If a return is approved but our logistic pickup is unavailable for a specific Pin code, the customer must ship the product to our office, and a ₹100 courier charge will be reimbursed.

• Items must be unused, unaltered, and unsoiled, with original tags and intact brand packaging.

• Replacements depend on product availability on the website.

• Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed using gift coupons.
