These terms apply to all users of our site including browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and contributors of content. Please read them carefully before using our website. Your continued use of our site constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

By using our services, you confirm that you are of legal age in your state or province of residence, that you will not use our products for any unlawful purposes, and that you will comply with all applicable laws including copyright laws.
2. General Conditions
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time, for any reason. While we prioritize safeguarding your data, you acknowledge that content transmission over networks may involve unencrypted communication. All credit card information is always encrypted during transfer. You may not reproduce, duplicate, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of our service without express written permission from Chotteylal & Sons.
3. Information Accuracy & Completeness
We strive to ensure that all information on our website is accurate and up to date. However, we do not guarantee that all information is complete, current, or error-free. If you have questions regarding our products or services, please contact us directly before placing an order.
4. Prices & Custom Duties
All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR). Prices displayed on product pages exclude taxes and shipping charges, which are shown at checkout. Product prices are subject to change without notice and may vary due to fluctuations in raw material costs. Precious metals and stones are commodities subject to market fluctuations beyond our control. Recreated pieces may reflect updated raw material pricing and do not necessarily indicate an increase in markup. International orders may be subject to customs duties and taxes as per local regulations, which will be collected directly by the courier company at the time of delivery.
5. Products
Our products are exclusively available online via our website. We strive for accurate product representation. However, lighting variations may affect color perception, and we reserve the right to limit sales or discontinue products at any time.
6. Product Specifications
Technical limitations may affect how colors or details appear on your device. We cannot guarantee that your monitor or mobile screen will accurately display true product colors and we are not liable for errors or inaccuracies in product photographs or visual representations.
All jewelry crafted by Chotteylal & Sons artisans involves intricate handcrafted techniques. Slight variations in size, dimensions, and detailing may occur and are beyond our control. These are not considered defects.
7. Chooda Warranty & Replacement Policy
Product Durability & Limitations
Our Iconic Chotteylal Chooda sets are handcrafted using premium materials, ensuring both durability and comfortable wear. However, due to regular hand usage and exposure to environmental conditions, natural wear and tear over time is expected.
This gradual wear is not a flaw but a mark of authenticity. It indicates that your Chooda is crafted from genuine, natural materials and is truly the original Iconic Chotteylal Chooda.
Warranty Coverage
Our Iconic Chotteylal Chooda sets are covered under a one-year warranty from the date of dispatch.
The warranty covers color fading, color peeling, and breakage of Chooda bangles under natural usage conditions. It does not cover damage caused by blunt force or mishandling.
The warranty does not apply to metal bangles, shimmer bangles, or any additional bangles included in the set.
All replacements will be provided in the same color and size as the original Chooda.
Skin Suitability & Allergy Disclaimer
Our Chooda Sets are carefully made to be suitable for all skin types and comfortable for long-term wear. We take great pride in the quality of our Chooda, and we have not received any complaints regarding allergic reactions caused by our Chooda Sets. However, we recommend purchasing and wearing the product at your own discretion.
Chotteylal & Sons shall not be held responsible for any skin irritation, allergy, or reaction that may occur due to individual skin sensitivity.
Return, Cancellation & Replacement
Every Chooda set is specially made with care and carries deep auspicious value for the bride. Because of its custom and ceremonial nature, we are unable to accept returns on Chooda sets once purchased.
In the unlikely event that you receive a different design or an incorrect size, our team will gladly help you with an exchange request raised within 24 hours of delivery. To make the process smooth and fair, we request a complete, uninterrupted unboxing video at the time of opening the parcel.
All Chooda sets pass through careful quality checks before dispatch, but if any bangles covered under warranty face color fading, color peeling, or breakage, we will replace them free of cost. In case of wear-off, only the affected bangles will be replaced, in the same color and size as the original set.
Please note that customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. No refunds are offered under any circumstances.

8. Care & Maintenance for Iconic Chotteylal Chooda
Protection Against Chemicals
Keep your Chooda away from perfumes, sanitizers, and other chemical-based substances. Metal bangles may react with these and cause discoloration or structural weakening.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Wipe gently with a clean, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive materials, harsh cleaning agents, and excessive moisture.
If you notice slight dark discoloration on the sides of the bangles, it is likely due to a reaction between metal bangles and substances such as perfumes, fragranced handwash, dishwashing soaps, chemical peels, or exfoliants. In such cases, gently clean the inner sides with mild soap and a soft cloth, then rinse and dry thoroughly. Avoid using harsh soaps or strong fragrances around the Chooda.
Precautions Against Color Contamination
Avoid contact with Haldi, Mehendi, or any staining substances. Discoloration caused by such contact is not covered under warranty.
Wear & Tear
Minor scratches and signs of wear from daily usage are natural and are not considered defects.
Hygiene & Upkeep
Keep your Chooda clean at all times. After completing daily chores or errands, rinse and dry it properly. Any residue, such as soap, chemicals, or other liquids left uncleaned, may react with metal bangles and cause damage over time.
User Responsibility
Proper care is the wearer’s responsibility. Failure to follow these care instructions will void any warranty or replacement claims.
9. General Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy
Applicable to all non-silver and non-customized products.
Cancellation by Chotteylal & Sons
We may cancel orders due to out-of-stock items, pricing errors, fraud concerns, incomplete address, or non-serviceable locations. Refunds where applicable will be processed within 48 hours.
Cancellation by Customer
Cancellation requests are accepted within 24 hours of order placement or before processing begins, whichever is earlier. Customized products cannot be cancelled.
Return Eligibility
Return requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery. Returns are accepted only in the following cases: faulty product, physically damaged product, or incorrect product delivered.
To be eligible, an uninterrupted unboxing video must be shared within 24 hours of delivery, and the product must be unused, unaltered, and in its original packaging.
Products not eligible for return
Customized products, Chooda and Kaleera (except in cases of wrong item received or manufacturing defect with a valid unboxing video), used or worn products, combo items (partial returns not allowed), and refused deliveries.
Approved returns may be exchanged within 30 days, subject to availability. We reserve the right to decline excessive or unreasonable return requests.
10. Order Processing, Shipping & Delivery Policy
Order Processing
- Processing time varies by product type.
- Available (ready-to-ship) products are typically dispatched within 1 to 2 business days.
- Customized products may require additional processing time before dispatch.
- Delivery timelines specific to each product are mentioned on the respective product pages.
Delivery Timelines
Delivery timelines are calculated from the date of dispatch, after the product is ready.
- Domestic (India): 4 to 7 business days after dispatch.
- International: 3 to 7 business days after dispatch, subject to courier partner timelines.
Please note that actual delivery may take up to 7 to 10 additional business days for domestic orders and 10 to 15 additional business days for international orders, depending on the destination, courier, and other circumstances.
Courier Partners
We ship through trusted carriers including BlueDart, Trackon, Delhivery, DTDC, and Porter (for local deliveries). International shipments are handled by BVC and DHL.
Unforeseen Delays
In the unfortunate event of a shipping delay, customers will be notified in a timely manner. Delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances, courier partner issues, natural calamities, or public holidays. We recommend placing orders with these potential timelines in mind.
Express Shipping
Express shipping may be made available from time to time. When active, the option to select and pay for express shipping will appear during checkout.
Free Shipping
- Free shipping offers, when available, are applicable only on domestic (India) orders.
- International orders are never eligible for free shipping.
- Any free shipping offer available on the website may be withdrawn at any time without prior notice.
- Discounts and promotional offers are not applicable on shipping charges.
Shipping Charges on Returns & Exchanges
For any return or exchange request accepted by Chotteylal & Sons, the customer is responsible for the shipping charges to send back the original product and to receive the replacement product.
Customers who prefer to avoid shipping charges may visit one of our showrooms to drop off and collect their products in person.
Perishable Items
For perishable items such as flower Rakhis, delivery will be attempted once only.
International Orders
- Customs duties and import taxes (if applicable) are to be paid directly to local customs authorities at the time of delivery.
- International orders are not eligible for free shipping under any circumstances.
- We currently do not ship to Afghanistan, Pakistan, Russia, Ukraine, Iran or Antarctica. This list may change over time as per political or geological changes.
11. Payment Terms
The full order amount must be received in INR. All gateway charges, conversion charges, and transaction fees are borne by the customer. Any shortfall in payment must be cleared before order processing begins.
12. Intellectual Property
Copyright All content on www.chotteylal.com and our official social media platforms is the intellectual property of Chotteylal & Sons. Unauthorized copying, reposting, or commercial use without written permission is strictly prohibited and may lead to legal action.
Trademark "SHAADI KA SAARA SAMAAN IN 1 DUKAAN" (Application No. 7010665, Class 14) is the registered trademark of Chotteylal & Sons. Unauthorized use or deceptively similar branding is strictly prohibited and subject to legal action.
13. Silver Coin Terms & Conditions
Pre-Order Terms & Conditions
1. Order Processing & Customization
All silver coins are made using certified 999 pure silver.
Customized coin orders are processed only after a minimum of 80% advance payment is received. The committed delivery timeline begins from the date of finalizing the design and receiving customer approval for the customized order.
The remaining 20% must be paid before dispatch or delivery. For urgent orders, 100% advance payment is required.
Please note, order payments do not include transaction charges unless explicitly committed in writing by our sales team.
Silver rate booking is available between 11:00 AM and 7:30 PM only. Rates can be booked only if payment is credited to our bank account and the receipt is shared within these hours on the same day. Payments or receipts shared after 7:30 PM will not be eligible for rate booking.
2. Changes & Cancellations For all silver coin website orders, cancellations are not permitted once the order is placed. For customized silver coin orders, changes in product or design cannot be accommodated once an order is confirmed.
3. Purity & Certification Each silver coin order comes with a certificate of authenticity.
4. Customized & Corporate Orders Custom orders are typically dispatched within 25 to 30 business days after design approval by the customer. Timelines may vary depending on the complexity of the design or quantity ordered, in which case the timelines quoted by the sales team shall apply. Customized orders include in-house design assistance and allow major design changes in one go. Once design and quantity are confirmed, further changes may not be possible. A color variation of 5 to 10% may occur between the digital design and the actual print, depending on printing material and type.
5. Shipping We offer pan-India and international shipping. Delivery timelines and charges vary by location. A delay of 7 to 10 business days is possible due to unforeseen circumstances, courier partner delays, natural calamities, or public holidays. Please place your order keeping these potential timelines in mind.
We are responsible for the dispatch date only. We ship via trusted and insured shipping partners; however, any shipping delays are the responsibility of the shipping company. For international orders, customs duties and import taxes if applicable are to be paid directly to your local customs authorities. We do not currently ship to Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, or Myanmar due to courier restrictions. As a suggestion, we can deliver your order to any of our serviceable countries, and a relative or someone travelling to you can bring it along.

Post-Order Terms & Conditions
1. Packaging All coin orders are securely packaged in tamper-proof boxes to prevent accidental damage during shipping and transit. Claims for damaged, missing, or incorrect products will only be processed if supported by a complete and uninterrupted unboxing video as proof.
2. Silver Buy Back, Returns & Exchanges
In the event of a return, exchange, or cancellation, we will buy back the silver at the prevailing market purchase rate on the date of return, after verifying quality and purity. Please note that GST will not be refunded. Additionally, making charges, packaging costs, and any other applicable charges will not be included in the buyback value. The original purchase price will not apply.
Approved refunds will be processed within 7 to 10 business days, subject to bank processing timelines, after quality verification and receipt of the returned goods at our premises.
No returns or exchanges are accepted on silver coin packaging. If coins are returned, the silver purchase price applicable on the day of return will apply.
For online and website orders, exchange is possible only in cases of a wrong item received or genuine manufacturing defects, reported within 24 hours of delivery, with an uninterrupted unboxing video and photo evidence.
In the unlikely event that you receive a damaged product, a complete and uninterrupted unboxing video is required to support your claim and process a resolution.
