CHOODA WARRANTY & REPLACEMENT POLICY

8. Product Durability & Limitations

Our Chooda sets are handcrafted and made with premium material to enhance durability. However, due to frequent hand usage and exposure to environmental conditions, natural wear and tear may occur.

There are inherent limitations to damage prevention despite our quality standards.

9. Warranty Coverage

Chooda sets do not come with a guarantee. However, they are covered under a one-year warranty from the date of dispatch.

The warranty covers:

3. Breakage of Chooda bangles

Not covered under warranty:

• Metal bangles

• Additional bangles included in the set
  

• Replacement of Chooda bangles of different colors or different sizes

10. Return, Cancellation & Replacement Policy – Chooda

• Damaged bangles under warranty will be replaced free of cost.

• In case of wear-off, only the affected bangles will be replaced.

• Customers are responsible for shipping costs on replacement orders.

• No refunds or exchanges are offered under any circumstances.

Chooda sets are custom-made and auspicious items; therefore, they are non-exchangeable and non-returnable.

Precautions Against Color Contamination

Avoid contact with Haldi, Mehendi, or staining substances. Such discoloration is not covered under warranty.

Wear & Tear

Minor scratches from daily usage are natural and not defects.

User Responsibility

Proper care is the wearer’s responsibility. Failure to follow care instructions voids warranty or replacement claims.

GENERAL CANCELLATION, RETURN & REFUND POLICY

9. Cancellation by Chotteylal & Sons

We may cancel orders due to:

Approved returns may be exchanged within 30 days, subject to availability.

• We deliver worldwide except Afghanistan and Pakistan.

• Domestic delivery: 4–7 business days after product readiness.

• International shipping: 3–7 business days (subject to courier timelines).

SILVER COIN PRODUCTS

(Specific Terms & Conditions – Applicable Only to Silver Coin Orders)

Terms & Conditions for Silver Coin Orders – Chotteylal and Sons

1. Order Processing & Customization

• All silver coins are made using certified 99.9% pure silver.
• All customized coin orders are processed only after a minimum 80% advance payment is received and the committed time of delivery will start from that day. The rest 20% is to be paid before dispatch/delivery. For urgent orders, 100% advance payment is required.
• Order payment doesn’t include any transaction charges unless committed in writing by the salesperson.
• Our working hours for silver rate booking are 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Silver rates can be booked only if the payment is credited to our bank (received in our account) and the receipt is shared within these hours on the same day. Payments or receipts shared after 7:30 PM will not be eligible for rate booking.

2. Changes & Cancellations

• For all silver coin website orders, cancellations are not allowed once the order is placed.
• For all customized silver coin orders, changes in product or design cannot be accommodated once an order is placed.

3. Packaging

All coin orders are securely packaged in tamper-proof boxes to avoid any accidental damage during shipping/transit. Claims for damaged, missing, or incorrect products will only be processed if supported by a complete and uninterrupted unboxing video as proof.

4. Returns & Exchanges

• No returns or exchanges on any silver coin packaging. If coins are returned, silver purchase price applies as per the day of return.
• For online/website orders, exchange is possible only in case of a wrong item received or genuine manufacturing defects, reported within 24 hours of delivery, with an unboxing video and photo evidence.
• In a highly unlikely, unfortunate case, where you receive a damaged product, we require an unboxing video to support your claim and process a solution.
• In case of a return/exchange/cancellation of order, we will buy back the silver at the market purchase rate on the date of return (excluding gst, applicable taxes, making charges and packaging cost), after verifying the quality and purity. Please note that the original purchase price will not apply.
• Refund Timeline - Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 Business Days, subject to bank processing timelines.

5. Purity & Certification

Each silver coin order comes with a certificate of authenticity.

6. Customized & Corporate Orders

• Custom orders are usually dispatched within 25–30 business days after the design is approved by the customer. However, timelines for custom orders may vary depending on the complexity of the design or the quantity ordered. In such cases, the timelines quoted by the sales team shall apply.
• Customized orders include in-house design assistance and allow major design changes in one go. Once design and quantity have been processed, we may not be able to accommodate any changes. Color variation of 5-10% may occur between digital design and actual print, depending on printing material/type.

7. Shipping

• We offer pan-India and international shipping. Delivery timelines & charges vary by location.
• A delay of 7-10 Business days is probable owning to unforeseen cicumstances, delays caused by courier partners, natural calamities, public holidays, etc.. Kindly place an order keeping these potential delivery timelines in consideration.
• We are only responsible for the dispatch date. We ship by trusted and insured shipping partners, however if there is a shipping delay by any chance, the shipping company will be responsible.
• For international orders, customs duties and import taxes (if applicable) are to be paid directly to your local customs authorities. Please contact them for detailed information.
• We do not currently ship to Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, or Myanmar due to courier restrictions. However, as a suggestion, we can deliver your order anywhere within our serviceable countries, and a relative or someone travelling to you can bring it along.
