General Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy covers cancellations initiated by Chotteylal.com, as well as customer-initiated cancellations, return requests, and refund requests.
Cancellation by Chotteylal & Sons
We reserve the right to cancel your order under the following circumstances:

Product unavailability or out-of-stock status (you may choose an alternative product).

Order quantity limit exceeded for a specific product.

Pricing or promotional errors due to vendor mistakes or typographical issues.

Flagged concerns by our credit and fraud prevention department.

Incomplete or incorrect address details.

Non-serviceable location.
While we strive to notify you before payment whenever possible, some cancellations may occur after payment. In such cases, your payment will be credited to your account within 48 hours, and you will receive an email confirmation.
Cancellation by Customer

Cancellation requests are accepted within 24 hours of order processing, whichever is earlier. However, if order processing has already begun, we reserve the right to accept or decline the cancellation request at our discretion. Once the order has been processed or shipped, cancellations will not be entertained.

Customized Kaleera Orders may have a 10-20% variation from reference pictures due to the nature of handcrafted products. Kindly ensure all details are correct before placing an order.

Customized orders cannot be canceled under any circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to, Chooda Sets, Kaleeras with personalized charms, Chooda Covers, and Chooda Boxes.
Return & Refund Requests
If your order arrives damaged or defective, please email us at contact@chotteylal.com within 24 hours of delivery with a mandatory unboxing video and clear photos highlighting the issue. Our team will review your request and assist you promptly.
Important Policy Guidelines:

We reserve the right to decline excessive or unreasonable return requests.

Orders delivered to neighbors, security guards, receptions, or letterboxes are non-refundable.

Refused deliveries by the recipient are non-refundable.

Orders shipped via Speed Post are not eligible for refunds.

Shipping addresses cannot be modified once the order has been processed.
Eligible for Return
You may request a return within 7 days of delivery under the following conditions:

A faulty or defective product was received.

Physically damaged product upon arrival.

Incorrect product delivered (different from the description).
Not Eligible

Worn, washed, or used products are not eligible.

Combo/set products cannot be returned or replaced individually.

Customized products are strictly non-returnable.

Chooda and Kaleera are non-returnable, except in rare cases where shipping damage has significantly affected the product's condition.
If your return request is approved, you may exchange the merchandise within 30 days from the date of purchase. However, we reserve the right to decline any return request at our discretion.
Delivery & Shipping Policy
We deliver worldwide, except to Afghanistan and Pakistan. However, if you're from these countries, you can arrange delivery to a nearby location, such as the UAE, or any other country where delivery is possible.
For orders within India, delivery typically takes 4 to 7 business days once the product is ready, with remote areas requiring an additional 1-2 days.
For international orders, we ship via DHL, with an estimated delivery time of 3 to 7 business days.

Additional Terms & Conditions

For perishable products like flower Rakhis, delivery will be attempted only once.

Any defects or issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery by the recipient or sender. Failure to do so will result in the request being declined.

If a return is approved but our logistic pickup is unavailable for a specific Pin code, the customer must ship the product to our office, and a ₹100 courier charge will be reimbursed.

Items must be unused, unaltered, and unsoiled, with original tags and intact brand packaging.

Replacements depend on product availability on the website.

Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed using gift coupons.
